I have discovered that I can vote for my own photos. I don’t think I’m the best to vote for my own pictures. It should not be possible to vote for your own pictures.

We decided to allow votes for your own pictures because in "real life" you're usually allowed to like/enjoy your own photography ;)

Can you explain why you think this should be changed? Maybe there's a good reason we've overlooked.
The only reason I can think of is that you can push the rank of your photos but I don't think that one vote would make much of a difference.

That's what I was thinking of. I hope we only can wote once on every picture.

Yes, every user can vote only once per photo.

Dear Alex,

Could you please clarify that can we vote our photos, one vote for one photo right?

so, is there any limit for that?
can I vote all my uploaded photos? (because I like all of them!)
or when you will think "this is a disqualify reason"..

I'm assuming you're talking about the contest. You can click "Like" anywhere you want; if you click it on your own photo you simply won't get a point for your photo. Only other people's votes count.

In general there's no problem in liking your own photos ;)

Very good that one can vote for a nice picture so for the maker too. So i hope we do respect that one can only put his own made photos on Shipping Explorer it is for that i do welcome two aviation pilots in our community. I mean it is obvious that the nice pictures of the Front Ardenne and Four Smile are made out of a plane.

So maybe mister or mrs Artem-Novo and Poen can supply some more nice pic,s from the sky.

Anyway i do continue loading my pics to this site

Yes, those are indeed very nice shots. It'd be really great to have more photos taken from a helicopter/plane, they look great!
