Hello,
a few days ago one of free AIS services added to Android market free mobile version for their service and $3.5 version to I-tunes. Are you going to develop such kind of software?

We've been thinking about it for a while but there doesn't seem to be much demand for this from our customers. If more clients request this we'll reconsider but for now there are no definite plans.
As a workaround you can still go to shippingexplorer.net on your phone and check your vessels/ports there.

i plan to buy an i-phone 4.
can i use the shipping-explorer program via i-phone 4?

Currently there's no iPhone/iPad version of ShippingExplorer. But you can still access our website with your iPhone and see vessels/maps there.

We're currently working on an iPhone version which will be released by the end of September (if Apple keeps the approval time short).
We'll probably tackle an Android version next. So without making any definite promises, I'd say chances are high that by the end of the year there'll be an Android application :)
